Weddings can be a huge investment with lots of moving parts. Let us help by answering some frequently asked questions.
What make House of Venus Different?
House of Venus is rooted in love and friendship. We want to create the most authentic wedding galleries we can. That means lots of candid photos, building lasting relationships with our clients, and doing all that we can to make sure you feel comfortable and have full trust in us. We can be as involved in your wedding day as you like, or we can be a fly on the wall just documentary everything as it unfolds. We don't want you to feel like the photos take away from time with your friends and family.
Why Do All Of Your Packages Include Two Photographers?
All of our packages include two photographers for a couple of reasons. For one it helps move the day along smoothly. Having one photographer with one bridal party while the other is with the other group helps get the most out of limited time. Secondly, having one photographer direct the couple while the other is keeping on an eye on fly aways, dress, or fixing any distractions. Lastly, having another trusted photographer to bounce ideas off of and create a game plan with makes the day go so much smoother. Plus its more fun working with your bestie! If you are not okay with this we can do just one photographer, but always prefer to have both of us there!
Can You Include Film Photos?
Of course! Both House of Venus Photographers love shooting film and would be happy to add this for an additional charge.
How Far In Advance Should We Book Our Wedding?
Our Wedding schedule can book up pretty quickly especially in busy season (April- October). We recommend at this time at least a couple months before the wedding, ideally around a year before.
Do You Travel?
Yes! We love to travel, travel rates may apply. International or destination wedding we may be able to work out a sweet deal with you :)
What's The Process of Booking?
One we receive an inquiry from you and if we have the date available we will move to scheduling a phone call to get all the information we need and to make sure we're a good fit. After that we will send you over a contract through Honeybook for you to sign and pay a 30% deposit at time of signing and the rest the day of the wedding.
How Long Will It Take To Get Our Wedding Gallery?
You will receive sneak peeks within 72 hours after the wedding and the full gallery within 6-8 weeks, usually sooner if we're not swamped with editing :)
